  1. North Bay here. We can see them fairly well.

  2. Yukon

    or

    North West Territories

  3. only seen them once from TO but when I was living in the Sudbury area seen them lots.  You don't have to camp out all you have to do is get away from the city lights.  You might want to maximise you viewing by finding out when the next Solar Max is going to happen this is the highpoint in the 11 year sun spot cycle.

Good luck and I hope you see them it is worth the trip.

  4. Hey fellow Canuck....I'm up here in Sudbury and they can be amazing and very intense, but the further north you go the better it gets, because you are inching closer to the north pole which is were this phenomenon is originated from...look for a hot day with a clear cool night and you should experience waves, flashes and colours that only LSD could duplicate....Cheers from the Big Nickel-Tripod.

  5. Used to live in Lachute, Quebec. We got many Northern light shows there. Have also seen them in Alberta on the #1 Highway west of Calgary but the Quebec show is much more colourful.

  6. yukon, northwest territories & Nunavut have great views of the lights

    especially alaska
