Northern virginia fishing

Question

where can i go fishing in northern virginia where i can actually fish from the bank and catch something? i want to go in the morning and i'm just not sure where, thanks!

First what kind of fish do you wantto catch...?  You might try Triangle Park on RT 1 just outside Quantico - they do pretty well there... also how far are you willing to drive? Remember most of the lakes in No VA have a lot of fishing pressure with so many people fishing there - I routinely head for the mountains - and hit the lakes or streams.

I live below Manassas and you have Lake Brittle, Germantown Lake, Lake Manassas or Cedar Run Creek....
