Norton Anti Virus Problem help please?

I had to do PC recovery because my desktop was'nt acting right. Now I reinstalled Norton and when I go to the Anti Virus it says at risk because when I reinstalled it it didnt turn the anti virus on. I need to know how I am suppose to turn it back on. I know how to do this but when i go to setting there is nothing there for me to turn it back on. Also it has'nt expired i have 195 days left.
