Norton Internet Security Wont Work right?

Question

heres the story. i bought Norton Internet security 2007 in 2007. i had it renewed and all and recently it upgraded iotself to the 2008 version. i problem happend with my computer a week later (unrelated to the product) that required me to back up all my data and clean install windows. I had to re-install norton, but now that i did, it says there is no Virus protection? and practically none of the options are available. and now my subscriptions is no longer there! help!?

Used to have norton it was a hogged, used up 2 GB + of my harddrive..

Switch to Avast or AVG Only use 48MB or so.. both are free.

Ok the problem is Norton Security itself! I also bought the product and downloaded it.  Ever since then my computer went totally slow and even at times froze up.  I had to have my friend who is a computer tech re-format it.  He suggested to never use norton and said the program has been known to contain a virus when downloaded.  Mabey u were unaware that the problem was caused by norton.  My suggestion would be to forget them and find a different and better security program like AVG.  If not you will continue to have problems.

that is bad thing that program does is go into the other stuff and gets bigger memory and stuff and its horrible. you get a free one and down load it and find out what ones are the best. you don't use them and never pay for them that is silly. its hard to get them once you lose them i gave up on them long time ago.
