  2. If this is loading into live memory, meaning it shows up in the processes that are running on your machine when you look in the task manager, then you will need to switch to Safe Mode to be able to remove the problem.

    Reboot your machine and hit the F8 key once every second while booting.  The boot menu should load.  Select the Safe Mode with Networking option.

    Wait for safe mode to load, which takes a long time and looks very different from your normal windows screens.

    Open and run your AV program.  It should be able to remove the program in safe mode, even if it could not in normal mode.
