Norway Maple not producing seeds?

Question

We have a tree that is believed to be a Norway Maple, thought to be a Silver Maple at first.. either way, it's not producing seeds that we know of and it's at least 20 years old. Anyone know why we're not getting seeds?

If it's a hybrid it may be sterile (many are) but other than that I don't see why it wouldn't. Has it grown a lot? If it hasn't it's possible it's in poor soil.
