Norwegian Cruise Lines??!?

Question

Okay so im going on NCL Jewel in August 23 and me and my mum were wandering if it has any washing facilities there like on the Qm2 there were washing matchines that you could use with out having to pay. I dont mean the ones that you send off for that they charge you for i mean the ones where you bring your own liquid and stuff. It is for 12 days so it will be quite long without washing . Anyone else going on this cruise as well as me ?

Hey.  I think that some ships have self washing facilities.  Most ships for Norwegian Cruise Line doesn't have self wash.  On most ships, you would have to pay to get your clothes washed.  I have been on Norwegian Spirit and for that ship, you had to pay if you wanted to wash something and you wouldn't have to bring your own liquid.  Your ship might have it.  

Someone wrote this on cruise critic about the Norwegian Jewel:

"The laundry room door has a very small plague at the top that says something like "launderette" it is very easy to miss the plague. The ship offers a "deal@ $25 per paper bag of dirty clothes." Washers and Dryers are FREE, but you do need 4 quarters to buy the small box of Tide in the machine. The box can do 2-3 loads of washing. There are only 3 washers & 2-3 Dryers per launderette"

"Sorry to report that there are no self service laundrymats aboard the Sun.

The only NCL ships with self service laundrymats are the Dawn, Jewel, Pride of Hawaii/Jade, Pearl, and Gem.

All NCL ships have a ship laundry, with valet service available daily.

Enjoy your cruise.  I haev never been on a 12 day cruise.  My longest was a 10 day.
