I have heard that when you go on the Norwegian Cruise Pride of Aloha, you get a card/pass which allows you to eat and drink for free [ despite tips ], and that everything on the boat is free, not the gifts and souveneirs, but i'm talking about food wise, Is that true?

  1. The card you are referring to is a boarding pass / identity card / cabin key / charge card that you need to carry with you all of the time you are on the ship. It gives you access to the ship, your cabin and charges any purchases you make to your cabin account.

Your are right, food and drinks (water, juice, tea and coffee) are included in your cruise fare.

The ship has several speciality restaurants where there is an extra charge for dining.

All alcoholic drinks, soda's, beauty treatments and Spa treatments are charged to your shipboard account.

Tipping is $10 per person per cabin per day.

    Enjoy your cruise

  2. my hubby and i went to Hawaii on ncl and you are charged $ 10 a day per person  for tips they add it right away to your credit card when you get your bill at the end it will read $ 10 a day so if you go for say 7 days that is $70 for you and $70 for the next person in the room. if you take the bottle water they place in your room and drink it it is extra. the food is included but they will charge you for a specialty meal in certain place and that is a special price for that only if you choose to eat there if not go to the other dinning areas . sods is extra and i am not sure about iced tea .what we did is when you go to the places like a mall or Kmart or Wilmar you can buy cans of drinks bring them back unboard and use the ice in your room .it is not Worth adding a soda tab to your credit cards.  if you take pics. you don't have to pay for all of them just take them and look first than you can but them at the end of the trip. go into the duty free shoppes on board but you don't have to buy there cause when you go on land there are places to get some of the same things.

  3. sorry don't know but u could pray or call the toll free number of the 700 club that u;ll have a safe trip. it's worked my prayers to reality seriously : 1800-759-0700

  4. The Pride of Aloha has several restaurants.  Most of them are included in the price of the cruise.  Some of the restaurants do have an extra cover charge.  The restaurants with the extra cover charge offer a better level of both food and service.

Alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, specialty coffees and bottled water cost extra.  Tap water, juice, milk, punch, tea, regular coffee are all free.

The card you are referring to doubles as both a room key and a charge card on the ship.  So if you buy something in one of the stores, you don't pay cash, you don't use a credit card, you don't write a check.  You use your room key and that is charged against your account.  You set up your account when you board the ship.  You can set up your account with cash or a credit card.

  5. Most all cruises the food is included in your cabin fare. The is true for NCL. All you are expected to do is provide the tip at then end of the cruise.

  6. most cruises are "all inclusive", make sure you  ask me about buy one get one companion cruises and save nearly half.
