Norwegian GEM anyone? Has anyone been on the NCL Gem? Id like to hear from you. Please share your experience.?

Question

How are the amenities, activities, and food on the new NCl ship as compared to other ships you have been on? We are booked for a 10 day out of New York January 16, 2008 and would appreciate a heads up from those of you who have already been on this new ship.

I haven't been on the Gem, but I've been on another Norwegian ship, and I didn't like it as much as Celebrity or Royal Caribbean.  The food wasn't up to par for me.  Also, I sailed out of Boston in Sept. and the seas were very rough.  You might want to take some sea sickness medicine with you, although they do offer it for free at the customer service desk.
