Norwegian Waffles

I lived in Norway for a year as an exchange student and I can comfortably say that the sour cream is not sweetened.  The vafler (waffles) are so yummy.  Soft, like thick dimpled pancakes, spread with jam (blueberry or raspberry are very common) and a dollop of sour cream.  People mostly wrapped them and ate them by hand.  They are very commonly served when visitors come over for coffee as they are so quick to make.
