I guess I'm a bit late with the answer:( but the best way to store it is in the freezer, then defreez it decorate the cake with the icing, put an raw ,peeled potato in the middel and put a plasticbag over it. store it over night. I can asure you that your cake will be delecious and not hard at all:)
