Nose Piercing Questions =O?

Question

So Im going to start school in about a week and a half and I might have the chance to get my nose pierced iether tommorow or the next day. My school only allows kids to wear clear facial piercings.

Questions... Is it possible after only having my nose pierced for a week and a half to take the stud out and put in a clear one?

Can I just request to get it pierced with a clear one?

Is it going to be really red after a week and a half? [[rather not start school with my nose really red]]

Please answer what you can and add any other useful info :D

It would depend on if the piercing place you go to carries nose rings like that. The chances aren't that great that they'll carry them because they usually have to order special stuff like that in. Maybe you'll be lucky, though. It won't be red after a week and a half. Mine wasn't red any more than 3 days, just sore for the most part. The only time it would turn red is if I'd mess around with it.

Ask to get a clear one when they peirce it because you cant take it out for a long time

i got my nose peirced about 4 years ago.

i got it done on a friday & on monday at school i was told i couldint wear it anymore.

so i went home & switched to a clear ring & let it heal with the clear ring in it. i didint have any problems. the pericer will give you ways to keep it clean, just make sure you do what he/she says. but other than that you shouldint have a problem.

& mine never got red!

it's pretty possible that you can use a quartz retainer as initial jewelry.
