Nose piercing, what can go wrong with it?

Hey, so I'm getting it done next year for my birthday, just a simple nose piercing, but i cant find anything on the internet that says what can go wrong with it? also does it have to be dont with a gun or a needle? does it hurt?

The only thing I can think would go wrong is when the jewel is in the inside of the nostril, and you have a booger on the outside. Other than that, you'd look like any other freak with a nose piercing.

hi i just saw this tv show where peircings lead to infections. these infections can sometimes be deadly. you can prevent this by making sure the piercing place you go to is proffessional and clean.

ok ive my done with both the needle and gun and they are both fine it just depends on where you go to have it done to which method they use.

like most piercings it's mainly only infection but as long as you clean it regularly nothing should go wrong

also if you get your nose done with the gun make sure they do not put a back on the stud as your nose swells a bit obviously as it has just had a hole punched through it and the back can become embedded in your nose and that will not be good. that happened to my friend and she had to go to hospital to get it removed.

I got mine done. If your afraid its going to hurt, then you don't want it to terribly much. A needle duh! No one will pierce w/ a gun! You will probably get  a little bump near the stud for awhile. Its really common.

Like any piercing on your body, you can develop an infection if you don't properly care for it during the healing process.

Go to a professional. He or she will pierce you with a needle. It is done quickly and is over before you know it. You'll feel a pinch as the needle goes through your skin but it isn't very painful.

Don't get it pierced with a gun!

and the way that you will take care of it...

you should do a nose piercing to a doctor...
