Question:

Nose piercing caught, help!?

Got my nose pierced just over 2 weeks ago, was healing well and didn't feel sore or anything. Then about 6 hours ago i went to rub my eye and got my thumb nail caught on the piercing and pulled it half way out of my face! I pushed it back in and cleaned it straight after. It feels slightly sore when my nose flares but other than that it's okay. I just wanted to know how much this has set me back healing wise?? How long will it take for it to not feel sore again?? Basically, has this slowed down the healing process and if so how much??

  1. i dont think it would slow it down. just add an extra day to the healing process. i have my nose pierced too :)

  2. should be ok in couple days just leave it for a day let it settle back in.

  3. probly not alot, it depends whether when it pulled out it scraped the inside or not, just keep it clean and dnt mess, should be ok in about a day or 2

  4. The healing process will barely be affected by this at all, when piercers give you an approximate healing time they take this sort of thing into consideration because of course your piercing is going to get knocked at some point. It'll stop being sore very soon, don't worry :) It's normal to hurt a bit if you catch it on something when it's a relatively fresh piercing.

  5. I don't think it would have slowed down the healing process as long as you put it straight back in.It will probably take a day or two to stop feeling sore,Im always catching mine.

  6. Its impossible to put an accurate time frame to this.

Its just a small hiccup that you will overcome.
