Nose piercing vs. cartilage piercing???

Question

i was thinking of getting one or the other..

what are the cons of both??

like which one hurts more and which one gets infected more/worse?

any details will help; i want to be as informed as possible.

but please nothing about how i shouldnt get one.

Okay I've had both. I took my cartilage out. Still have my nose.

I love my nose piercing. My cartilage one was cool, but it is WAY harder to take care of. Plus it hurts when you sleep on it It did look cute though...until it got infected. Pain wise, I don't think either hurt that much at ALL. Just little pinches. Id go for the nose, I think they're so cute. Good luck dear.

My friend has both her cartilage and nose pierced and she said her cartilage hurt worse. For her nose, her eye just watered a bit. I have my cartilage pierced and it was pretty painful, compared to the other parts of your ear at least. It will depend on your pain tolerance obviously because everyone is different too.

I have my nose pierced,cartlige,my lip, and two holes in each ear, and the cartilige was the most painful out of any, i've had my nose re-done twice now because the hole closed on me. The cartilige gets infected alot easier, and has a bigger cleaning process. I reccomend getting your nose pierced.

my sister just got her cartliage pierced and some states arent allowed to pierce your cartilage with a piercing gun so they have to do it with a needle...because if they do it with a gun there is more chance of infecion and the surrounding cartilage gets shattered...but i dont really know anything about nose piercing...but personally i like cartilage piercings better

cartilage doesnt hurt while you get it done but after you cant sleep on that side and if ur hair gets caught on it, it kills. but it looks really cool!

If you get like a nose piercing on the side of your nostril, it doesn't hurt as bad as you think it will. But like it's really easy to get infected. Cartilage piercings are suppose to hurt really bad, but I think those are way cooler. :B But Cartilage piercings can get your upper ear to like shatter, but it's not like really common. :] If you cartilage piercing you can get like a bunch on the same ear, and it won't matter, but you only can get one nose piercing or it looks funny. :B

First of all nose piercing is a cartilage piercing. With that out of the way I've had both a nose piercing and ear cartilage piercings. Nose piercings get caught in stuff way too easily.

Either one will hurt but only for a second and be sensitive for awhile. Also depending of what part of the ear you get done healing time will vary.

Cartilage piercing i would go with but have it done by a professional piecer otherwise it might get infected  but i know a person with the nose pierced and and she had to take it out and for the next week it was infected and it was totally gross how infected it was...

i would get a cartilage piercing because for any reason you have to take out your nose piercing it'll look like a big blackhead. thats just my opinion.

besides i think cartilage piercings are cuter. once they heal you'll have no problem sleeping.
