Nose running clear fluid and throat is very sore...what is wrong?

My nose is running like crazy...I mean literally dripping, but it's clear and thin, like water...not mucus.

Also, my throat is terribly sore. I don't have a cough though. I would have suspected allergies, but the sore throat isn't "itchy" like I usually get with allergies.

It sounds like you have a cold.  Your sore throat is from post nasal drip.  Take some over the counter cold medicine with an antihistamine in it and you should be fine.
