  1. Kazuki's qualifying is something he needs to work on, but his race pace and racecraft and most importantly, race results have been quite solid.

His brother is apparently faster than Kazuki.

I think you have a prejudiced view towards the Nakajimas, or Japanese drivers in general.

Fast or not, Japanese are the biggest car makers in the world, and their influence on F1 means there will inevitably be some Japanese drivers on the grid. Money and politics speak loud in F1. Get used to it.

  2. Its like theres another nelson piquet but im sure f1 can cope

  3. Hmmm, I know he has a bad reputation, but really, Nakajima has done quite well this year.

He's only had 2 retirements. 1 where Fisichella shunted him off and okay, in the other he gave Button a slap up the backside and caused himself to retire.

Nakajima is currently on equal points with Rosberg and have both had to retire once because of an accident that was their own fault.

Give the lad a chance I say. I think his performances have been solid if unspectacular. Pretty much the same as Rosberg this season actually.

  4. Franck williams have always thought that son always drives like father.and he always had his hands on the sons of former f-1 drivers....he had some hill(graham or damon...donno i never watched dem race ...i was not alive then)....recently nico and den kazuki and i wont be surprised if he gets his younger brother as his teamate soon...[as nico wont surely be spending his life driving that slow willi (ams)    ].......and if he gotta get a seat then it would surely be on the basis of his talent and perfomance......cause money once played a big role in a driver securing seat...but no more...at least after the tke over of jordan and Minardi by mr.vijay mallya and dietrech(sorry for the wrong spelling...i meant the red bull boss)....and vijay mallya has made it clear tht he wanna make Force India a top team and donot wanna settle for the last place in the future...and the first step for that was by signing Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil(and paying both of them their respective salary)...

  5. Unfortunately,  sometimes its not the talent,  but the money the driver brings to the team

Cannot be any worse than IDE ?

  6. Let him have a good season in Formula Nippon and then he should think about F1.

  7. Money plays a big part, like at the moment F1 is moving to the middle east more for races due to the money they bring.

kazuki is good though and i like him so maybe...

  8. Hopefully each new Nakajima will be an improvement on the previous model.

  9. I agree with Derek, the Nakajimas are fairly quick and far from the worst drivers on the grid. Kazuki has kept Rosberg very honest in the races, if not in qualifying. His father Satouru had Senna as a team mate and was comprehensively out shone but when Piquet sr was with Satouru at Lotus they were quite close, Piquets luck getting him more points. (Though Satoru did have a few crazy crashes)
