  1. There will be warrant for your arrest

  2. Generally if you dont show up for court they will get a bench warrant out on you. You will then have to post bail and pay the fine or do the time for your offense also. You will be just making more problems for yourself. I doubt they will come looking for you at school.

  3. They won't come into your school unless you murdered or raped someone......they will come to your house, though, and ask you nicely to come to the courthouse, post bail, and reschedule your court date.  You could call in advance to try to reschedule to avoid all of that.

  4. If you don't show up for your court date, the judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest. It would be better to have your lawyer ask for an adjournment.

  5. If it's just for a traffic violation or a speeding ticket and it's your first offense you will have an arrest warrant issued, but little will likely come of it. If you are ever pulled over again, however, you will be arrested and held until you pay the ticket in full. Points will be added to your license.

If it's for something more serious you should take care of the matter immediately.

  6. Depending on the type of offense (traffic ticket), you can sometimes call and reschedule your court date for a future appearance.
