I'm 15 years old and i had red cheeks ever since i was 4 i think, I'm don't think its Rosacea because it not flaky, not dry or has acne. My skin is actually sensitive i believe, i think i had too much sun exposure and that's why its always red or its maybe capillaries. Well her is a pic of me C:\Users\Darlene\Pictures\2008-07-29 hi\hi 005.JPG (copy the link, and when it says about windows needs to open a new webpage just click okay and it will show you my pic) i'm the one in the middle btw. So i am asking you, is there anything i can do to get rid of the redness (creams, facial cleansers, redness relied cream/lotions anything to get rid of my redness, NO concealers, foundation etc). I heard Clinique Redness Solution works, if it does please tell me what store i can get it from (no online stores please). THANKYOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP ^^.

  1. I have highly reactive skin which obviously becomes red and blotchy very quickly with any product that is not for intolerant or rosecea like skin.  I use La Roche - Posay Toleraine Dermo cleanser as it doesn't aggravate.  Yet it doesn't get rid of the redness it does calm the skin greatly. I started using the Clinique Redness Solution Protective Base with SPF 15 back in June... honestly I will not leave the house now without it.  I find it does calm down the redness a lot.  If you don't have the itchy, stingy, burny skin that typically goes along with intolerance or rosecea then you may only need the protective base just to tame the redness.  You can purchase clinique at Sears in Canada.  The protective base will run you about 22.00 CAD.  When choosing any product you should be looking for products that are oil-free as oils can aggravate redness.  However, you may want to consider talking to a dermatologist or your family doctor just to make sure the redness is not being caused by another issue.
