Well how come Sir Clive Woodward said on Radio 5 Live on Friday night, that the only reason England were beaten 36-0 was that Jonny Wilkinson wasn't playing?

  1. Love him or loath him...Johnny controls the game fabulously. His role model is rob andrew for god sakes.

  2. How right you are, they are not a one man team. The kicker is only the finisher after a successful run of play that almost forces the opposition to give away a penalty. Wilkinson is a great player and leads the others by only 2%. Every one in a team adds to a victory as well as a defeat.

  3. England is a 10 man side. Any backs outside of Wilkinson are effectively worthless. When needing to score a try in the last 20 minutes they looked like stunned mullets

  4. Although England are not a one man team, I just feel that when Wilkinson plays it just gives the rest of the team a lift in confidence and they all seem to raise their game that little bit more.
