Question:

Not allowed to drive. What can I get - an electric scooter?

I'm 30 but a medical condition prevents me from being allowed on the road, whether in a car, motorbike or even bicycle.

What if I get an electric or motorized scooter like the one Adam Sandler rides in his movie "Reign over Me" and ride it only on the sidewalk? Would it look very childish?

  1. Sure. Read up on your cities rules about riding on side walks first. Consider a golf cart too.

  2. Im 32 and also cannot drive. I bought an electric bike, a zbike I dont look like a dork because they are black and look like a dirt bike. I added some electra stickers to make it look even meaner.

  3. If you're not allowed to ride a bike then I doubt you will be allowed to ride a scooter. Many states require people with scooters to also have a license showing they are able to drive if it goes over a certain speed (maybe 5mph?).

    Just walk. It's good exercise.

  4. maybe a Segway, they're mostly legal on the sidewalks
