When my baby mice start to eat real food should they start on hard food or somthing else???

  1. All of mine started on solid hard foods and have always done just fine. ^_^


  2. just provide the same food you give their mother (preferably lab blocks)

    ((lab blocks are the rodent food that look like huge pellets, its much better for them than seed mixes and such, if you wanna go the extra distance provide mice and rats with a combo of 3/4s lab blocks and 1/4 rodent seed mix))

  3. Provide them with the same food the mother is getting.  Also, add some soft foods to stimulate their appetite - small amounts of fruit, baby food, cooked pasta and rice are all good and healthy treats.  

  4. start them on your f***s
