I have a set of surround sound speakers for my computer but I am not getting much bass output from my woofer. I am running the 5.1 system on an on board sound card and want to upgrade. what sound card would be suitable for my speaker system. not too little and not too much. I want max output. here are my speakers.

  1. Personally, Cyber Acoustic speakers are very low in quality. My last set, the subwoofer was horrible in terms of quality. In fact, I think it has more use as a overly sized satellite than a subwoofer. If you want better bass, buy new speakers, such as a 2.1 system from Klipsch. If you are reluctant and strapped for cash, then you might want to try Creative's X-Fi XtremeGamer line. They're around $70 online.

  2. Chances are your soundcard isnt the problem. If you need some cheap new speakers, I strongly reccomend the Logitech X-530's for their extreme bass response. Logitech has some other nicer speakers but if you want to spend some money, ket some klipsch speakers.

Cyber acoustics really don't perform well in bass.
