Ok, sorry if TMI but this is driving me nuts.... First of all I had twin girls 4 months ago. I started taking the depo provera shot at the hospital and also had the ESSURE procedure done (to one side only, the other tube was blocked and I have to go back) in May.... The first time I was on the shot, after my oldest child was born, I didn't have any spotting or anything at all the whole time I was on it... But now, I'm not sure which is causing it, my period lasted about 2 weeks (i didn't quit bleeding after having the twins for almost 3 months) but everytime I have an o****m I start bleeding again. Has anyone else had this problem?

  1. yes that happened to me also. i used to be on depo before having my daighter and i barely ever got my period. i had my baby 6 months ago and when i went back on depo i would be on my period from2-3 weeks and aslo spot in etween and when i had an o****m.i asked my doctor and said it would get regular and it did after my 2nd shot im fine i only get my period for a week maybe every 2 months.. but if you are uinsure about anything ask your doctor

  2. no I haven't, just call you doc or mid-wife they will be glad to answer your question.

  3. sorry no I was on Depo with my first 2 babies after each delivery and then for 2 years but never had that problem.

  4. My doctor had problems placing the Essure and I woke up from surgery with my tubes tied! I've heard lots of stories about failed placement and the coils moving after placement. Have you gone back in to have a follow up check to make sure you're fully closed and nothing slipped? I think that you are supposed to do that after Essure. Wish I could be more help. Call your doctor!! :)
