I read about a company in BusinessWeek about a year ago that was based in NYC and dealt with cutting edge innovation for third world countries. They might have been a grantor that gave grants to individuals / other companies that would then create say, a mosquito net or watter purifier. Any hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I just cant remember the name of the organization.
