  1. Only Sky 3 is on Freeview. If your Freeview box is provided with a good aerial then it should tune in ok.

There is absolutely no way that you could have received any of the other channels that use the Sky name without a satellite box or a feed from one.

Are you thinking of the other channels that the Sky box can receive? Some of the stations that transmit via satellite (e.g. "Dave" and the History Channel etc.) are also available on Freeview.

You will have to make sure that your aerial feed is a good as possible (indoor ones are usually not good enough) and let the digital tuner run through its tuning sequence.

If your receiver  has a signal strength and quality meter then make sure that both strength and quality are above 50% to be sure of picking up all stations.

  2. I am assuming here that you have a (aerial) lead transmitting the sky signal from elsewhere in the house (otherwise you wouldn't get sky on the old TV)

On the Freeview TV you will have to switch to analogue mode and tune in the analogue signals, which will include the aforementioned sky signal.

  3. Sounds like you need to smoke a fatty. Make sure its the 40 an 1/8 stuff though.

Maybe you are already stoned by the looks of this post :-)
