I decided not to have a girlfriend or serious relationship for a while, or at least until I finish my serious projects and goals. It seems that I have got so much done. It has been a little lonely, put it is worth it. If I was spending time & money on a girlfriend or dating multiple girls I would not have be able to do all the things I have. For instance, Instead of spending money on food & wine and movies, I bought a new microphone and amp. Plus, my experience is that woman are dream killers. I decided to stop chasing women and turn the tables.

  1. hmm...i guess it's because your not constantly thinking about a girl and thinking on ways to impress her or things to do for her.   :)

  2. well i don't think having a gf should be work you shouldn't have to waste your money or time on someone if you don't think its worth it. when you meet that one girl you'll want to be with that one girl every moment of the day.

  3. You are correct sir.  I'd like to demonstrate it with a little math.

    Girls = Money

    Money = Time

    By transitive property, we have that girls = time.

    In giving up girls, you are gaining time.

    Congratulations you probably more wealthy and have a lot of free time on your hands.

  4. I think what it is, is that you don't have to worry about anyone else except yourself and what's really important to you.

    It sounds selfish, but it works. I felt the same way about a year ago, kicked the guy out, got a dog (better companion for movie nights, and doesn't complain that it's not an action film!) and have been MUCH happier ever since!

    Bah, I know I'm not dating again until I find someone I can simply enjoy their company, and not have to worry that they are cheating, taking drugs, drinking, spending all my money or embarassing me in front of my family and friends by such activities.

    (Ps. I'm a chick - And yeah, I'm usually the one with money in my relationships, eugh)

  5. Well that's nice, dawg. I'm glad that sh*t's been working out for you. Yeah, it's true - girlfriends take a toll on the wallet, not gonna lie. It's about whether it's worth it to you and what you want out of life. It seems that you're interested in other things and spending your time and money on THOSE things instead of a girlfriend. If that's how you roll, then keep on keepin' on like you're doin'. Good luck in the future, dawg.

  6. typical guy, always thinking of yourself trying to get this together and that together first before getting into a relationship....then start feeling lonely in the end. Shoulda've Woulda've Coulda've...you either do or you don't.
