Not just Celestial Halo, Punjabi too?

The reigning champion hurdler was beaten for the second time this season in the Champion Hurdle Trial at Haydock Park. When he was beaten in the International Hurdle, at Cheltenham in December, Punjabi’s trainer, Nicky Henderson, reckoned that the horse would really need the run. This time it was the course that was against him. And now they’re saying it will be the same next time when he runs at Wincanton, next month, in the Kingwell Hurdle because that course is like Haydock.
