If this is true, no matter how the election goes, it will be historic as we will have either the first woman vice president, the oldest president ever elected, or the first black president.....kinda neat don't you think?

  1. he's the oldest candidate to ever run, so yea.

  2. I don't think that there's anything good about

him being old, all that means, is that he's more likely

to die, leaving us with Palin, as president.

    And that would be horrible...

  3. For a first term yes. But I think age is not an issue, other than the fact it means he has more experience and is more ready to take over this country. This is the election to watch, as great things will happen. Like the oldest president, the first woman VP and the Black guy wanna be. Go McCain.

  4. yea its a progressive election

  5. Oh, so you're not really asking a question, only making a statement.

Reagan was the oldest at 69. So, yeah, McCain would be the oldest.

As far as being neat, I think it would be neater if at least 1 of those people had some experience.

  6. reagan was 78 when he left office.

  7. Yes, that would be true

  8. I'll have to agree - that's one of the reasons this is such and exciting election.

My 16 year old daughter is upset she can't be part of it by voting, my 20 year old son and 21 year old son are both excited!

(and no - I don't know how they are going to vote.)

  9. Actually Reagan was 73 when re-elected in 1984.

  10. ya but i rather have the oldest to run not the youngest and far most the dumbest like obama lol

  11. Yes, its an amazing election year, we will make history regardless of who gets elected...

  12. If he were reelected, yes.

  13. To a first term, yes.  I don't think its particularly "neat", especially given his poor choice in a VP candidate.

  14. Yes, as far as I know...McCain would be the oldest.  Bu the McCain/Palin ticket would also hold the first Woman VP as well!

    Go McCain / Palin '08!

  15. McCain will probably get a heart attack and die. He's old enough! And we are going to be alive to see history be made, either way. Pretty cool when ya think about it!

  16. Nope. Ronald Reagan, the greatest president of the past century, was 73 years and nine months old when elected to his second term in 1984. If elected, McCain would only be 72 years and three months old.

  17. so far,i think hes the oldest
