So,

I did not start this so that people would insult me and whatever and get all defensive,

I just want to say,

That yeah i understand that when girls are VERY young and are like "oh i want a baby !" I find it just as repulsive as the next person,

and i don't have a problem with really trying to DRILL some sense into them,

I just don't understand why people always assume the worst of infactuactions or dating issues with teenagers.

Like if someone who was like 14 was asking for advice for someone who she's seeing who's say, 17,

you dont need to be like

"YOUR GOING TO GET PREGNANT AND HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN BLOW UP YOUR HOUSE !"

like they're young and want to have fun JUST LIKE YOU DID. You can advise them that staying safe when it comes to sexual activity is VERY important, but you make them feel mad and it will make them want to listen to you even less, trust me.

Just when you answer them try not to be so harsh,

and don't say "no one falls in love until they're AT LEAST 20 !"

or "you won't last longer than TWO WEEKS !"

like how would you know?

are you in that relationship? didn't think so.

just for example,

my cousin has been dating the same guy since she was 13, she's now 26 and getting married to him.

also my close friends parents are married and have 5 kids, and they've been together since they were grade 10 (15 i believe).

So this was not made for any personal attacks,

i've just been seeing it a lot lately,

and i'm not trying to be mean towards anyone,

just let them have their hopes up for a while,

you did..

  1. i agree. you should always give advise

but make it so they will listen. i have learned

better when my teacher TALKS and not yells to me.

but i do no blame those who do yell, they only care

about me, i must realize though, that they do not know how to

    explain it any other way.

  2. i totaly agree with what you say,  but realisticly there is thousands of pregnant and single girls aged from 13 through there teens, whos lives have been ruined,  there is no going back after they find they can't aford to keep a baby, there education is down the drain, work prospect is pretty much nill,

they can't enjoy there youth like child free teens can

yes we do on occasion put them down when they are repeat sexual adicts who do know the conciquence of continued un protected s*x

  3. I have never wanted or experienced anything that you mentioned so It wouldn't be my place to put them in their place or try to "educate them".

  4. I think when you look at the overall picture and statistically what is happening (especially across America) much of which is reflected in here (as you can see I've read and answered thousands of questions) for the most part it seems that teenagers (and adults alike) make poor decisions which land them in a very miserable place.  So I suppose people want to harshly get that point across that teens should not even be considering dating at such a young age.  I am one of those who thinks that way too.

  5. huh?
