How much do you think a Jack Russell Terrier/Pit Bull mix will weigh full grown.

We are comparing her to our 7 month old Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua/lab mix.

The pit mix was 6 months old and roughly the same size. but a little taller.

By the way My lab mix was from an accidental litter who ended up in a rescue.

so was that pit mix. Neither were bred on purpose.

Our girl is short and lean, and long, but built. This dog was taller and had quite a few pit features but you could see the Jack real well.

Our 7 month old mix is roughly 22-25 pounds and is expected to be 30 pounds full grown maybe closer to 35

We probably won't see this dog again but she looked cool and she was about the same size and she is 6 months

I know pits fit in the same size category as labs (most weigh less)

  1. Pits are generally 80ish pounds, so I would guess a jack russell mix would be about 40-60 pounds depending on where which side of the family had that dominant genes, but he would be a much bigger dog than yours.

  2. I have 2 pitbulls they are both full grown females the one weighs 55 lbs and the other is 65 she is shorter then the other, It depends never thought you could mix a Jack Russel with a pit.

  3. Hmm, I answered this already.

  4. ncisrocks498, I like the personality of a russell terrier. They are so sweet.
