Not racist at all, just an actual question about Asians?

Question

It's a proven fact that Asians have limited eyesight. Should they not be allowed to drive because of this limiting ability? Lots of them swerve, change lanes without acknowledging your presence, cut you off, tailgate, and are the cause of an unusually high rate of accidents. All because of their lack of peripheral vision. Also, I believe they're just not accustomed to the pressures and speed of everyday driving. Maybe it's because back home they ride bikes and are so compact that when they drive a car, it's too much to process. Honestly, I'm not racist. In time I believe future generations will improve but the fact that their eyesight is limited will not. Should they not be allowed to drive? Honest answers here.

Ah...you so funny. Asian like little old lady look like cotton ball with two hands on wheel. Open eyes? No...half closed. Asian very hard head...no care what go on side to side only straight ahead. You see me, good. I drive, you watch out. If you no like and want to restrict, what about teenager go vroom vroom and crash? What about old f**t who drive too slow and stupid? What about idiot in school who get all D's and no care about authority? What about Haitian Taxi driver in Miami? Indian Punjabo in New Yorko? You make very slippery slope...not racist...just no think ahead. Take foot out of mouth and think...

Note: I am not Asian, but work in an environment with quite a few of them. I have no problem with their driving and I believe you would create a slippery slope when targeting a specific group. Jews and Swastikas comes to mind.

Well, I'm not Asian but I can say the same thing about the elderly. Their eyesight is bad as well. Should we kick them off the road just because it's a proven fact that their eyes are bad? Or how about women? I've heard that women get in more accidents than men. Are we destined to ride bicycles to get where we're going? You wanted an honest answer so here you go- I don't think it's a cultural thing. I think it's a human thing. Not everyone has perfect eyesight and thankfully, there's the highway patrol and the police to catch the ones that violate the law. My guess is that you're not either of those.

That is stupid... if you pass a driver's test, you pass a driver's test. Obviously if they pass the test they meet the standards required for driving. And the whole bike theory is ridiculous unless every single Asian in America was born and raised in Asia.

ok, so at my school it's about 50% asian, and let me tell you, in the mornings it's a FREAKING NIGHTMARE trying to avoid all these accidents with the asian moms driving their kids to school. perhaps it's not their fault, perhaps they just never learned to drive well, but jesus christ! I practically get a heart attack everyday.  I mean, I've only got my learners' and I can drive better than some of them!!!

What do you mean by "Asians"? Japanese? Chinese? People from Papua, Pakistan or Israel? Or perhaps somebody from Uzbekistan or Kamchatka?

Your question HAS a racial undertone.

There are good drivers and bad drivers. Experienced and inexperienced. No matter what kind of eyes, nose or limbs they have.

Surely, driving in India is a nightmare, but that's cultural and social phenomenon. It may be "imported" to the US, UK or Canada. But again, it has nothing to do with the race.

all humans eyes are on the front of their head ,unlike birds ...statistically where are you getting your info because i find that more people under 21 have more fatal accidents regardless of race than anyone else embrace asian philosphey at home and you will learn alot more than you could ever know about yourself...

Asians drive that way because that is the way they drive in their country, and you know what? That is the way the Italians and French drive too
