I teach a preschool class and we were talking about what's soft and cuddly, going round the circle, one little girl said teachers!

Actually, that is great.  I said to a 3 year old one time, "I really like how you care about people."  She said, "I do care about people.  Especially people in Heaven that have no money."

Classic quote #2 of mine.  There was another preschooler that drew a picture.  Happy faces, big house, tree outside, flower, sun, birds...you know the type of picture.  Then she drew a rain cloud.  I said, "And you also drew a rain cloud" (Not judgementally, but hoping she would explain why that was in such a stereotypical cute, happy picture.)  

"Yes," she replied.  "The rain makes the flowers grow."

Whoever thought a 4 year old could COMPLETELY change the outlook of the world?

In my preschool I actualy have a question of the day.  Here I ask a question and all the children respond.  Then, I take the answers and put them all together in a book, and give them out to parents.  This is something that the parents love to see!  They like to look at what other children say too.  They come up with some really funny stuff sometimes.

We must enjoy moments like yours .This is the real stuff of life.   Children are born so pure, we must each do our part to help them keep honest .We must all be child like, not childish , to help make this world the place it is supposed to be.
