I am 16 weeks along and I'm really frustrated that I'm not showing. I was a little bit overweight to begin with but is there something I can do to get to look pregnant? My sister-in-law is also 16 weeks (although it is her 2nd child and this is my first) she really looks pregnant so it makes it look worse when we are together and people know we are at the same week but yet you can't tell I'm pregnant. I've actually lost about 20 pounds. Will I ever show and is there something I can do to speed up the process?

  1. dont rush it the baby will grow even if you cant see your belly growing, if you want the attention buy shirts that clearly state you are pregnant... seriously tho the bigger your belly the more back pain.

  2. the reason she is showing quicker is because she already had a baby and her body has already been stretched out. its you first so your body hasn't went that far yet

  3. Don't you worry.  You'll be looking preggers very soon :)  Probably within another week or two.  You're probably one that pops out overnight.

  4. dont worry i did not show with my daughter until 6 months and i only was 110 pounds and then i gained 90 pounds LOL thank god i was 15 and it took no time to take it off!  it is different with everyone! I hope everything is good!!

  5. Lol, my advice is to enjoy not having a huge belly while you can!  Believe me, you'll show well enough in the next few weeks, and you'll be begging to be comfortable.  Why not buy a t-shirt with some sort of witty saying on it about pregnancy?  That way people will know you're pregnant, too, while you're with your sister in law :)  Congrats to you!

  6. Ummmm...this has to be your first baby because I remember the same feeling with my first. Mostly I just wanted people to be able to tell that I was pregnant and not that I needed to lay off the dessert table.

Enjoy being able to wear regular clothes- this pregnancy I wear about 25% maternity wear and use today's fashions (low-rise waists, ballooned-blouses and empire waists) to my advantage so that I don't look knocked up...and I only have 8 more weeks to go!

So I have no advice on speeding up the process, just enjoy wearing regular clothes and looking like the hot mama you are!!!

    Best of luck!
