Not so expensive restaurants nyc?

does anyone know of a good restaurant in nyc i'm taking my boyfriend for his birthday but i don't want to go somewhere that's crazy expensive 25-35 an entree is ok.

If you want to go to a NOT so crazy expensive place; go to il Cortile in little italy; Entrees should be between $20-30. They have good good food; the atmosphere is amazing; and its a really romantic place:)

I'm not sure the exact location; but you can do a search for il cortile nyc and see if that's something you'd be interested in!

most restaurants are expensive there so u if u dont want a expensive place u should just stick to a pizza place and than bring him to a bakery place for dessert. tehres a lot of good bakery places all over

first off manhattan is not limited. one of my favorite places is a restaurant called  bruschetteria it is on rivington on the lower east side, it is really small and has really great prices, if you going during the evening the lights are dim and there are candles on the tables, you could both share a bunch of bruschettas and then get entrees and end in GREAT gelato.

its also a fun neighbor hood to walk around after dinner, there is a small park with benches near by.

Inoteca on Rivington is fun and won't damage your wallet. There is a lot to do after dinner as well. Very lively and young crowd.

Hit a good Deli, Chinese, Italian but not carte blanche type
