Not so much a question for myself, as much as a question for someone else?

if you know you're going to be reported for something, then why keep asking the same question that keeps getting reported.

i say i've reported maybe 2 people in the horse section since i got here, just for rudeness/insulting. (that's not counting the times i have seen it and just let it go.)

why not just rephrase the question so you wont get reported?

here i'll be "nice" and help:

question (seriously please just answer this one):

why do people get so bent when someone askes a horse gaming question in the horse section?

my answer: because we've seen it over and over and over. i just dont go to those questions any more. b/c 1. i dont game, so i dont know anything about gaming, even if it had to do with a horse game. 2. the only thing online/tech wise is i come here to answer questions, rest the time i'm out working on the farm or at work. . . iknow my life is so boring! lol but please feel free to answer the last question, i am tired of seeing that other one deleted so much

  1. People should answer nicely or not answer at all. That's what I think.  Why do people get so bent when someone asks a horse gaming question in the horse section?  Because they think it's wasting there time because it's in the HORSE section and they don't think HORSE gaming questions belong in the HORSE section. I think if they don't like the question DON'T ANSWER IT!

  2. well if people get rude and we all do at times it is because we are self centered and rude and really dont care about the horse industry as a whole and try to create a enviroment that people can enjoy that makes for more success for every one involved the old saying handed down from the grand mas of this great nation says IF YOU CAN NOT SAY SOMETHING NICE THEN PLESE KEEP  QUITE AND THAT IS A GREAT SAYING THAT WE ALL NEED TO REMEMBER

  3. I don't think Yahoo really checks to make sure they are in fact deleting a question or answer. I think it's just about the number of reports they get. For instance, say a person with multiple accounts doesn't like one person or is just a troll looking to stir the pot a little, he/she will report your question/answer then log onto a different screen name and report it with that. After a few reports your question or answer comes down.

There isn't much of a weeding out system when it comes to YA!. It's so easy to see if your question has been asked before because when you type it in, there will be related questions shown as you're typing.

People don't just get bent on those gaming or "what should I name my horse Peaches even though he's already got a name" questions. A lot get bent on every little thing- especially when you suggest they lower their $5,000 dollar price tag on their unregistered, untrained, cow hocked, HYPP positive horse.

It's human nature to gripe, and I admit I've come on here after a long day of work and have answered questions in a not as polite manner. YA! is theraputic for a lot of users. You can't go up to some idiot in public that is saddling their yearling quarter horse and mounting him, well you can-it's just not considered polite, so many people come on here and yes, some anger is released.

It's normally the same people reporting certain peoples answers. And once you figure that person out, you can always red dot them and bar them from seeing your questions. Otherwise, just keep truckin.

  4. Maybe they asked again because they want an answer that will attucally help....

I agree with #1 animal. If you dont like the question then why are you answering. Just dont go to it. If you are sick of answering questions about horse games then why would you go in it say something rude, then come here and ask why people ask those questions. You are just waisting 15 minutes of you life.

I think you need to let things go. I dont really get why you are getting so mad about it. if you dont like then dont go to it.

    THAT SIMPLE!

  5. its...........just............typing....... ignore it.  And, all the social barriers drop when people are hiding behind a keyboard, for sure, so I just let it go unless someone gets REALLY nasty.  (Which I have seen on here way too much.  One girl was suicidal, and people were typing to her to do it.  I'm sorry, I can't just let that **** go.)
