Not sure about discharge.?

I just finished my period two days ago and now I have a bloody sort of discharge. There was two days of no period and now this has just started. It isn't as a lot of blood, but still enough to need a panty liner etc. I am on the pill (monofeme) but this is my third day taking the active pill. Before this period I had been running my pill packets together so I hadn't had a period in three months, so I don't know if this is part of the reason. I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else and how long it lasted.

Yes, this discharge could be as a result of taking strictly the hormone pills and not taking the inactive pills which allows the body to have a period (an example only).

This kind of discharge can also sometimes be an indication of an infection (another example only).

The only way to know for sure what's going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say.
