My best friend since we was little is having a baby boy and she wants me to give him his middle name. I LOVE the name Angelique but spelling it like Anjelique. I wanna know if it's only a girl name or it can be unisex. Anyone else have some nice French boy names? Something to do with Angels,like a great and power full meaning.

It's definitely a girls name. Do not do it.

No, its def a girls name.

Military Wife and Mommy:  Michelle is the girl version, Michel is the boy version.  Renee is the girl version, Rene is the boy version.  I'm French, so I know which is which.

no, that is such a girls name, he will always get people asking if hes a boy or a girl. Angel is (in my opinion) a girls name and sounds stupid on a boy, but I don't like it for a girl either. Maybe Angelo??

Gabriel is a male angel in the bible and Michael is also ,either of these are fine,keep it real and keep it simple! good luck!

No, anjelique is a bad choice for a boy. He will be mad fun of horribly and hate it. You could give him an angel's name like: Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and I forget the last one.

it is a very pretty name for a girl, but not a guy, for guys a stronger name is better especially bc if you give your son a funny name that is even remotely girl like, he will be teased and have a harder time in school and growing up!

As for angel related names,look up angels and their different names and maybe you will find a guy name for your little angel....
