I have scored As in AS levels of history, geography, English literature, and business studies (300/300 on history...is this valid, or am I showing off? - you decide). Going to drop geography.
I have to make up my mind by October 18. It hasn't seemed imperative because it I couldn't get over the inanity of them being that bureaucratic as to need it that early, and Summer was too good. I haven't been to any open days or really considered it. None of the universities seem, superficially, to be very distinct from the others, which has put me off visiting, as I think I'll just end up wasting my time. No one institution inspires more confidence than the other. Okay -
What is the best university guide?
Should I aim for top 20? top 10?
Name some universities that are good for history/politics.
Will I lose respect for continuing something non-academic such as business studies? Or is it alright if I play to its strengths in personal statement i.e.enjoy economics
Are there any open day databases? Are there any ones you'd recommend that are coming up?
HALP MEH PLEASE!
