Not sure horse would be good for western?

Question

hey so i have a 3yr old 15.1(maybe 15.2) gelding and have done basic ground work(walk trot canter) and walk trot when on, but all the english way. Im switching to western with my other horse and thinking about it with him but im not sure hes built for what i want to do.

Id like to do roping heres a picture of him

Depends on his personality, if your doing cutting you'll want something with a little spark, but if your doing pleasure something quieter is more ideal.

  I would say yes ,,He is built Like he can go western easy

Horse;s do not know what saddle is on there back

It the way you ride him,

  Just take roping easy on him But yes he looks good to me,
