Not sure if I need a passport to drive in to mexico!?

I'm planning to drive to mexico sates so I'm wondering if I need a passport??

As of now the law is:  To re-enter the US you will need either:

1.  A Passport,  

OR

2.  A driver's license and a certified copy of your birth certificate

Well if you're driving from America to Mexico yes you do. But if you're staying within Mexico then i dont think so

probly yes becasue your not  a member lets say that of mexico and your only going there for veaction lets say that too  you need one if you live there then no ..

durr you need one your leaveing the usa if thats where you live if not still you probly should ask !

but iam saying you should always be prepare !
