  1. Yes, it could indeed be a French lop or a mix because of French lop / giant house parents.  If it is large enough, it could also have Flemish giant blood in its veins.  Oh, and yes giant house rabbits, don't have lopped ears, you are right.

  2. Biggest breed of lop rabbit is the english lop- google some pics of french and english lops and see if you can see one that looks like it.

English lops have HUGE ears that drag along the ground.... very cute

English lop is a giant breed of rabbit

  3. "Giant House Rabbit" is not a recognized breed that I'm aware of?

A large rabbit with lop ears is most likely a French Lop. They can reach extreme sizes, but I think their general weight is around 10-13 lbs.

Color does not always determine breed, as many breeds come in several different colors. But there aren't any lop breeds larger than the French Lop.

  4. It could be a french lop but, depending on the parents you can get giant house rabbits with lop ears.

  5. I also went to a pets at home store in Bedfordshire and I am sure that the rabbit i saw was an english lop. It was huge with a brindle brown colour and had floppy ears. This is a picture of one so that you can compare.

  6. I think it is a french lop!
