Hi, I am looking for my second car now, I've driven a scion xA before my mom totaled it (ironic hey but shes ok) and now im in search for another one.

I have a budget of around 10-20k range 20 is really pushing it cause i would need to take some severe loans out.

I'm 18 and i don't really care about flash and looks. I just need something that saves me money, GREAT gas mileage (30+) and enough cargo space and passenger space for ski trips and my friends can sit comfortably.

I was looking at some cars which include, the mazda3 hatchback, nissan versa hatch, honda fit. And budget stretchers would be a corolla/civic but i can probably get a 8000 dollar 01 corolla civic somewhere. I am really in a dilemma any advice would be appreciated. I've done a lot of research of the cars performance, options and financing thanks.

  6. I say buy a lancer 08 i bought it and it feels comfortable, i think it's economic. Ive put well over 7k miles on mine so far and love it. had it about 5 months with no problems. It starts at about $13,000.

  7. Porsche 911 GT2

  8. joey, are you looking for a new or used car? Carmax, as suggested by Gamer532, is good for used cars. For new cars and to get an idea what car might be right for you I can recommend My Product Advisor www.myproductadvisor.com

    Hope this helps.

  9. How about a mini Cooper?

  10. Not sure if it would be big enough for what what you want to do, but a 2000 saturn SW did very well in fuel economy and handling, other than wanting to hydroplane on a really wet road in Seattle.

It got 33 MPG on its first trip.

I think the model was SW1, and it had a double OHC engine with chain drive.

I drove it from the Modesto area to Seattle and north 3 years in a row. Kinda hated it when my dad traded it in on a 2002 Chrysler T&C, but he wanted something a bit easier for him to get in and out of.

It was comfortable and handled well.

had no problems with it, other than the hydroplaning, and that was in a fairly heavy rain.

  11. i know someone who has a mazda 3 and they love it. Ya online maybe cars.com or something you could probbably find a very cheap like 2000 camry or accord corolla malibu or basically any economicall priced sedan nothing flashy decent mpg and will get the job done.

  12. Toyota Yaris for fuel economy.
