  1. seriously! they do!

  2. Maybe its because a lot of rock music originates from blues music and that originated in America so it feels more natural to sing that way? Just a guess.

  3. omg! i was wondering the SAME thing!

  4. Does this sound American to you?

But ignore Idina since she's American.

  5. I've noticed that too. Like Ozzy. No one can understand him when he talks, but then he sings all clear and stuff.

Maybe they do it because America is better.

    USA! USA!

  6. oh wow they do. lol

  7. I heard a while back that a British singer was asked that question, and I think they said something to the effect of: "It sounds better when we sing with an American accent."

  8. Some do, not all though, loads of bands don't.  Muse for example don't, nor do The Darkness.  Nor do I for that matter.  I think many of us Brits sing like it because it might fit the genre of the music better.  Or it just sounds better depending on the accent of the brit singing.
