Not urinating enough?

my boyfriend constantly drinks fluids but still hardly ever has to urinate. He is on blood pressure medicine, does this have an effect and if it does what can remedy it? The type blood pressure medicine also supposedly has a water pill with it.

  1. I agree with Curtis. If he sweats a lot and is very active it can lessen the amount greatly is some cases. It's also possible that he consume alcohol on a regular basis it can negate other fluids he consumes. He should try to drink 8 cups of water a day.(about 2 liters or .52 gallons or 4.2 pints) More if its very hot or if he works out.

    Still it would be a good idea to make an appointment to see your general practitioner  just in case if it is being caused by an ailment of some sort.


  2. If he's a big guy. his body may be using all that he takes in.  Its true that most Blood Pressure medicines are diuretics (make you go), but he made need to have his dosage adjusted if it isn't helping with his blood pressure.
