Not what I wanted! Now what do I do?

I got a perm two days ago and tonight I finally got to wash it. It hadn't been looking so good before, but the stylist said that it was straighter because she had to comb it that way to cut it. Well, after washing it doesn't look any better, in fact, it may be worse. I've had perms before, and loved them. Though they never seem to last long with my hair, they would at least start out all curly and so cute. This one is just sort of wavy, quite frizzy, and there are some straight spots still. She seemed to do it just the same as the other lady; same size rods, same amount of time with the solution. So what went wrong? And what can I do? I just want curls!

  1. i cant believe people still get perms!how 80's

  2. omg... my mom had a similar but worse problem.. that reminds me... ok first a looooot of vitamins

then, go to a better professional, cause a good one wont do that

    and it just takes time...

trim it a little every month so it can look healthier...

    good luck!

  3. Call and explain to the salon manager...assuming you got it done at a salon...

Tell the manager that you would like to set up a time to come in and have him/her take a look at your hair to see what they think.

Ask if there is any possibility of having him/her fix it as it was a problem that their employee created...

I used to work in a salon.  Its pretty standard that people handle issues this way.  Most likely they will offer to fix it for you if at all possible...

Leave it to the pros to fix, but not the one who did it to you in the first place.

    Good luck.
