I have a 3 month old little boy and i was reading in a parents magazine & got the idea to create a notebook for him about me [his mommy], his daddy, both of our families, us as a couple, our siblings. I can't think of anything else to add in there. Any help?

I was also going to put like a growth chart and important dates like when he first smiled and stuff like that. I'm out of ideas now...ideas would be very helpful. thanks!!

  1. That and just the basic things like pictures would be nice, all his holidays and birthdays, Just a little mini scrap book that he can continue.

  2. I started one for my son before he was born. I wrote down my thoughts about being pregnant, then being a new mommy.

    I kept a calendar handy to write down days when he had all his first, then entered them in the notebook.

    With each birthday I wrote a letter to my son and that went in the notebook.

    I kept a journal and wrote in it at least once a week of all the things he did, where we went as a family, visits with grandparents, any events of the week.  I especially made sure to write about the cute funny sayings once he started talking.

    I ended up doing this for all of my children and still have it even tho they are grown.  It is a real treasure and they like to read thru it.

  3. First day of school

    Loosing first tooth.

    first vacation.

    First christmas {or channukah}

  4. Oh thats wonderful !

    I think you should try getting those water based finger print oils, and keep track of the growth of his hands and feet ! We did this with my younger brother who is now three years old, it's truely amazing. All the best wishes. -shawnz <3
