Notebook gadgets?

I'm making a notebook(actually a moleskin fake-o) and I want to add stuff to make it more impressive and useful. I added a strip to use it as a page index and some pockets at the back...what else?

dont forget the elastic stapled in short sections for pens and pencils  on the inside - do you have a place for calculator?

I think a decorative elastic band or two across the front would be cool to hold cards, pictures, paper etc.  Kinda like those bulletin boards that use ribbon to hold the pictures and postcards.
