  1. sorry for your loss. I lost my son to cancer at the end of 03. I think what he meant is that's it's a crazy universe, there could be alternate universes where that person is still alive. or there very well could be a after world where we will meet them again.

  2. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Your grandfather is a wise man.

I'm sure you know what nothing is impossible means. He meant that you can do everything you set your mind to. If you believe that you can do what seams impossible, than it's possible. So, nothing is impossible, therefore making everything possible.

Impossible means nothing. I believe that's what he meant, that links to the first part. Since nothing is impossible, that means you can do everything, making it possible. So, impossible is nothing. It's possible. Impossible is just a word people use when we believe we can't do things. Everything is possible, so impossible doesn't really exist.

    Hope this helped.

  3. 8 No, not crazy. Just didn't have the reliable formula to pass on to you. Most people glean some truth out of their lives and hang on to it without being willing to assume full responsibility by learning the whole shebang. When you offer most people the way to turn any poison into medicine, they shrink back and close their minds. Full awareness is too much responsibility.

  4. sorry to hear about your friend.

as for the phrase,no i dont think he's crazy and it doesnt mean anything in particular, but its a statement of hope and will.

nothing is impossible means ,to just always believe that you can overcome anything and impossible is nothing, means anything that seems inpossible can be overcome.its just a form of positive thinking.

if you relate it to particular situation about your friend, maybe he was saying ,you can overcome this grief or anything you want ,to be strong and hopeful that you can get over anything and that anythings possible, that maybe even she/he would have been healed or that you will see her/him again oneday.

do i believe impossible is nothing and nothing is impossible, depends how positive im feeling, but i know one thing for sure, love will always give you hope and make you strong.

  5. It's just one of those things that people say that is supposed to sound deep and thought provoking at a time when there is really nothing else to say.

  6. Yes, but not everything is probable. Thanks.

  7. Nothing exists that cannot be overcome. Which was his way of saying that you can overcome your grief. Know that this too shall pass as life goes on.

    In sympathy:

Don’t be sad when a loved one passes.

Be glad that they had come among us,

    however long was their stay.

    They brightened our lives

and gave our hearts a tune to sing.

    We shall miss them,

as we miss a bright summer’s day

in the midst of a winter’s gloom.

    But our hearts will remember

    the joy of their presence.

    Who knows, one day

in the midst of one of life’s many storms,

their life’s song may rise within our breast

    and we begin to sing.

If only in our mind, our heart, our soul,

their life’s song carries us through.

We have made it a part of us.

Now, it is a part of our life’s song.

In that way, we all live on.

  8. He;s saying that EVERYTHING"S POSSIBLE.It's true,if you put your mind to it.

  9. Maybe he meant your friend went to the afterlife, and he was indicating that it was possible for him to do so.

  10. I think he'd just been watching an adidas advert as it's their current slogan. He probably felt that he should say something wise to make you feel better and couldn't think of anything and so panicked. Your Grandad is a fraud, I'm afraid.

  11. it doesn't matter if he told you as a random deep looking phrase..there is something more important: in every step there is a sign to be studied and it helps us grow..when we are in difficulty these random thinkings keeps us in touch with ourselves in the manner of growing..but if we let ourselves go after the negative autocomming feelings in hard moments ..we loose the lesson..so:

it is possible to get a long with the reality of your friend's death..and you can handle it dear
