Notice a difference in the new YA?

Question

Is it just me or is there a big difference in how the you can now ask a question in YA. This is the second time I am asking this (didn't show up before) so I am guessing it is from cursing. Have you noticed if you cut and paste as a question it NEVER posts as a question?

Please if you have noticed anything? I am trying to figure out the new rules. Thanks.

Before submitting it make sure the right category is marked(the pinhole dots) also sometimes it just takes awhile depending how many questions there are .You can see if they went through by clicking your avatar profile and checking under questions asked. If they are posted somewhere they will be on your profile list.

   **add-on top of the screen where it says search for questions type in questions are not posting' and then search-you may find answers there or go to the forum and ask the Y!A vips...or you can see if others have had problems too.**

**press the little blue square by your points total maybe your URL..was your account revocked for some infraction? Idon't know....

The biggest difference I've noticed is the lack of the YA spell check. It wasn't the best spell check anyway, so I run Word while I'm answering questions and use the spelling and grammar check there. I minimize it when I'm done.

There is a limit to how many characters you can use, so you have to keep it short and to the point.

Same thing has happened to me, several times.  Sometimes questions don't show up until the next day.  And if it's not on the first page, it's kind of like, out of site out of mind.  Yes, and I also have gotten the "we're taking a breather" or "oops..." (I don't care if it looks like I have a lot of punctuation d**n you*) on certain questions every time I try to answer them, even if I go answer other questions with no problem in between.  I also hate it when it tells me I have to put at least 20 characters in the title.

*note to the new program which always tells me I use to much punctuation

Jane...Did you already go to Yahoo Products and ask? Not that anybody is awake there right now..but others might be having the same problem. Does it happen in every section you go to? Are you just pasting links or long things? Maybe something is wrong with your paste button. Well..if it shows up for you then that's not the problem. It's got to be Yahoo. You need to ask them. Sorry you're having this problem. I'm going to try to copy your question (maybe ) and see if it pastes for me here.

IDK Maybe it's only in your questions.

Edit..oh..you're cutting and pasting and putting it in a question. Why don't you put that part in Details instead of the question?

Edit...The main thing I don't like is that they seem to always suggest the wrong category. And, if I edit on it...after I have chosen a new category...it goes back to the one they chose and I have to choose a new category again. Frustrating. Wish I could help you with Math..but I only taught Elementary school...and probably couldn't even pass a GED these days.

Was the thing you copied and pasted very long? Maybe it exceeded the amount of characters you are allowed to use?

Oh well, make up another couple of accounts and rotate their use, that way you will aways will be able to ask plenty of questions.
